Uniting Port Macquarie is seeking a dedicated care worker to join our Hotel Services team within our aged care home to provide essential support in Laundry Services.

Situated in Port Macquarie, Uniting Mingaletta is a residential aged care facility offering a welcoming living environment. Our facility is designed using the household model of care. This fosters a warm, family-like atmosphere where we strive to ensure every resident feels at home. We have single rooms, and our facility is currently undergoing a room refurbishment to ensure our facilities are modernised.

Position Overview:

As a Care Worker in Hotel Services, you'll play a key role in supporting independence, dignity, and comfort by providing essential services in our laundry, helping to create a positive and enriching daily experience for our residents.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous laundry experience (Desirable, not mandatory)
  • Certificate II in Hospitality or an equivalent qualification. (Preferred, not mandatory)
  • Previous experience in community care or aged care is a bonus.
  • You're empathetic, adaptable, and resourceful, with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
