Lead the day-to-day operations of a busy branch | Hands-on role | Real ownership | Hendon location

We're looking for an Operations Manager to lead our Adelaide operations at 1300TempFence. In this role, you'll be coordinating our warehouse team, subcontractor crews and daily delivery schedule to make sure jobs are completed safely, on time, and to the standard our customers expect.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll be out in the yard, onsite with customers when needed, running toolbox talks, planning work, staying close to the team and making sure the right people and materials are where they need to be.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading the warehouse and site teams to deliver work efficiently and safely
  • Planning and scheduling day-to-day installs, pickups and deliveries
  • Allocating stock, fleet and subcontractors to meet job requirements
  • Building solid relationships with subcontractors and holding them to performance standards
  • Being the escalation point for customer delivery issues and solving problems quickly
  • Keeping the yard organised and stock accurate
  • Reinforcing a positive, respectful and safety-focused culture

About you

  • You don't need to have fencing industry experience — but you do need to understand how to run operations, lead people and get work out the door.
  • You've led a team in construction, logistics, hire, or similar environment
  • You communicate clearly and don't avoid hard conversations
  • You can plan ahead, stay organised and keep others on track
  • You're calm under pressure and don't get rattled easily
  • You're hands-on and not afraid to jump in when needed
  • Forklift licence (or willing to get one)
