SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Henderson Group is a leading supplier of greetings cards, gift packaging and stationery products in the Australian market. Long established and proudly Australian owned, our head office is based in Victoria with sales representation in every state. We are independently owned and enjoy a strong culture of achievement and growth, built on highly-valued customer relationships and an outstanding team.
We are currently seeking an individual to fill a role servicing our Far North Queensland customers.
The successful applicant will sell a large range of quality products and service a variety of customers including independent supermarkets, newsagencies plus more. Many of these customers will be supplied product directly from the van which is also to be kept stocked by this individual via a storage unit in Townsville. A hunger to develop new business within this territory is also a key part of the role.
The advertised position requires country travel from Townsville to Mackay, Longreach and Cairns regions.
Ideally, residing in the Townsville region, the successful applicant will be required to stay away from home approximately 22 days, over an 8 week call cycle as follows:
Week1: 3 Days
Week 2: 3 Days
Week 3: 3 Days
Week 4: 3 Days
Week 5: 3 Days
Week 6: 3 Days
Week 7: 4 Days
Week 8: 0 Days (Local calls in Townsville)
The person we are looking for should have an honest and strong work ethic, immaculate merchandising skills and prepared to work the hours to achieve success. This position is a hands-on role and some heavy lifting would be required.
