About the Role

The overall purpose of the Apprenticeship / Traineeship Support Officer is to provide administrative support to the day-to-day operations of the Apprenticeship / Traineeship Support Unit. The incumbent will perform a range of administrative tasks to ensure an effective and efficient service is provided to apprentices, trainees, teaching departments, employers and other relevant external stakeholders.

Location: Sunshine Campus, Sunshine

Contract type: Continuing, Full-Time hours per week)

Classification and Salary: HEP 5 - $76,459 - $87,825 (per annum) plus 17% Superannuation

Position Description: Apprenticeship/Traineeship Support Officer

Key Duties

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Performing a range of administrative functions related to apprentices and trainees 
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with employers
• Actively contributing to the Apprenticeship/Traineeship Support Unit's work efforts to help ensure the achievement of key performance indicators
• Working collaboratively in a customer-focused team, supporting employers, apprentices, and trainees throughout their journey with Victoria University TAFE

As the successful candidate, you will

• Have strong knowledge and experience in apprenticeships and traineeships
• Bring expertise in the administration of apprenticeships and traineeships within an educational environment, along with strong customer service skills
• Be responsive to customer needs and ensure compliance with operational and regulatory requirements throughout the apprentice and trainee lifecycle
• Be able to work in a fast paced setting
