At RockUp Coffee, we believe in providing café-quality coffee at convenience speed, backed by an exceptional customer experience. We're looking for a dynamic Café Manager who will rock up every day with energy, passion, and a drive to lead. This includes:

  • Lead & grow the team – recruit, coach, and inspire baristas to make consistently excellent coffee and deliver exceptional service
  • Coffee Expertise & Quality Control – oversee the entire coffee program, maintain equipment, and stay on top of coffee trends.
  • Drive efficiency – manage rosters, stock, and systems to keep service smooth
  • Champion the customer experience – foster a warm, welcoming space and experience for all customers
  • Manage the numbers – oversee budgets, costs, and inventory to keep the café thriving
  • Bring fresh ideas – support menu innovation, promotions, and local partnerships

This is a permanent full-time role, based in Blackburn, with business operation hours from 6:00 am – 3:00 pm, 7 days per week. You will be required to work a minimum of 1 weekend day per week.

What we're looking for

  • Experience leading in a café, hospitality, or similar fast-paced environment, including Starbucks, GYG, McDonald's, Hungry Jacks etc.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, you will be confident in managing budgets, costs, and operational processes
  • Proven track record in hitting KPIs and delivering results
  • Great communication skills and a knack for building community
  • Strong coffee knowledge and a genuine passion for café culture - importantly you will be an experienced Barista
  • Ability to work weekends (minimum of weekend day per week)
