This is a 2 year project position with funding secured for this period, the role is initially offered on a 12 month contract basis with possibility of extension to at least 2 years (subject to local labour law).

Join our People & Culture (P&C) department at Greenpeace International and help strengthen a global culture rooted in justice, equity, diversity, inclusion, and safety (JEDIS). As a Global P&C Partner – Network Relationship Lead, you'll work closely with National and Regional Organisations (NROs) across the global Greenpeace network, providing expert guidance, fostering collaboration, and driving meaningful transformation in organisational culture and people practices.

In this key strategic role, you will act as a trusted advisor and relationship builder, aligning global initiatives with local needs, and supporting the implementation of people strategies that empower teams, strengthen leadership, and ensure our workforce is equipped to meet today's challenges and tomorrow's ambitions.

In this role you will:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders, providing proactive and strategic guidance on all People & Culture (P&C) matters.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships, understanding the unique contexts and challenges within the global network.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of global P&C systems and practices. Identify gaps, propose initiatives, and drive change management efforts to enhance organisational effectiveness and consistency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on global P&C strategies, policies, and compliance.
  • Foster a culture of trust, inclusion, and accountability while managing complex relationships across diverse cultural contexts.
  • Stay up to date with emerging P&C trends and best practices, share insights and lessons learned to improve P&C initiatives and drive organisational growth.
  • Facilitate the alignment and collaboration on global P&C initiatives across National and Regional Organisations (NROs), ensuring access to expertise and global best practices that support their local strategies.
  • Identify emerging trends and common needs across the network to inform P&C strategies and initiatives. Provide cross-network insights to guide global decision-making.
  • Act as a P&C representative in critical management situations, offering strategic advice and support to senior leadership teams at GPI and NROs during high-impact moments of disruption.

What we're looking for:

  • A track record of thinking out of the box and delivering leading-practice solutions / championing change
