ABOUT YOU
  • Proven experience as a Civil Drafter.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, and any exposure to 12d would be a bonus.
  • Your civil project experience will be across Urban Land Development.
  • Greenfield & brownfield Drafting (roads, pavements, subdivisions, drainage, bulk earthworks, OSD, WSUD, carparks etc...)
  • A solid understanding of relevant standards and specifications is important.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willing to work in a team environment is a must.
  • Whilst our client offers some flexibility their preference is to have people work from their North Sydney office.
  • Diploma or Cert IV in Civil Design.
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is necessary.
ABOUT THE ROLE
  • Translate Designs: Convert civil engineers' designs and sketches into detailed technical drawings.
  • Create Key Plans: Produce drawings for roads, drainage, sewerage, water supply, and earthworks.
  • Utilise CAD Software: Proficiently use tools like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and 12d Model.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure all plans adhere to Australian Standards and local council regulations.
  • Collaborate: With engineers, surveyors, and project managers.
  • Review and Revise: Amend drawings based on feedback and project changes.
  • Maintain Quality: Uphold drawing standards and meticulous record-keeping.
