Medical Receptionist – Full Time (Part Time Hours Adaptable)

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team. This role offers flexibility, with adaptable hours available for the right candidate.

About the Role:

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment. You will provide front desk reception, administrative support, and assist our medical practitioners to ensure the smooth running of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting patients and providing a caring, professional service
  • Managing incoming calls with a polite and empathetic phone manner
  • Scheduling appointments and managing the bookings system
  • Processing Medicare claims and patient billing
  • Using Best Practice software efficiently
  • General administrative and reception duties

About You:

  • Previous experience in a medical reception role (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare billing and claims
  • Proficiency with Best Practice software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathetic, caring, and professional at all times
  • Highly organised with attention to detail

Pay: $56,137.50 – $91,608.12 per year
