Trainee Business Manager

Canterbury BMW is owned by Autosports Group, which is a large, listed retail automotive group representing the world's greatest prestige and luxury automotive brands, across 55 dealerships with approximately 1800 employees.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Junior Business Manager to join the team.

Primary duties will be:

  • Assisting the Business Manager in preparing, processing, and settling finance applications.
  • Utilising Finance systems and maintaining up to date accreditation.
  • Reconciling payments, receipting, and verifying against bank account.
  • Preparing finance files for delivery.
  • Collecting and verifying important documents such as payslips, driving licences and other forms of ID.
  • Assessing applications along with Business Managers to consider whether they are suitable for submission.
  • Completing general administration work and other duties as required.
  • Liaising with customers via email, phone and face to face to collect documents and information.

What You need:

  • Previous experience in in the Automotive business is preferred but not essential
  • Strong Computer skills and the ability to take on new information quickly
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to seek direction and assistance where appropriate.
  • High attention to detail and a professional approach.
  • A proven capacity to work autonomously.
  • A friendly, customer service oriented nature
