About the Role

As a result of ongoing growth, Summit Modular are seeking a Junior Draftsperson to join our team on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and efficient construction drawings, sales sketches, and variations across a diverse range of modular projects,  including Tiny Homes, Lifestyle Villages, Government contracts, and regional developments. This is a varied role that will give you exposure to multiple facets of construction while developing your skills in drafting and compliance.

About You

We're looking for someone passionate about drafting and construction who is eager to grow their career in the modular building sector. You'll bring:

  • A Certificate IV in Residential Building Drafting (or working towards)
  • Experience with ArchiCAD
  • Knowledge of NCC, R-Codes and council regulations (desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and work within deadlines
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to learn from senior team members

If you have experience in modular or framed construction projects, that's a bonus,  but most importantly, you'll be motivated, adaptable, and committed to delivering quality outcomes.

Where you'll be working

The role will be based at our Canning Vale office, with the construction yard on our doorstep giving you the opportunity to develop your Modular construction knowledge by watching our construction team in action.
