Ipswich Girls' Grammar School including Ipswich Junior Grammar School offers high quality, non-denominational education to students from Kindy to Year 12 (co-education from Kindy to Year 6, girls only Years Established in 1892, the School is one of eight original Grammar Schools in Queensland. THE ROLE
The Director of Advancement (DoA) is a member of the School's Executive team, responsible for the strategic leadership and operational management of the Advancement Department.
This role works closely with the Principal and is responsible for overseeing and integrating the enrolments, philanthropy, fundraising, alumni, marketing, community engagement and communications functions. The Director of Advancement will develop and executive strategies that align with the Schools Vision, Purpose and Goals, ensuring the long-term sustainability and success of the School.

- Alumni and Community Engagement
- Marketing, Communications and Brand Management
- Enrolments and Student Recruitment
- Partnership and Community Relations

ABOUT YOU
You are a high performing and dynamic leader with extensive experience and relevant qualifications in Advancement (preferred), Fundraising, Marketing and/or Strategic Partnerships, ideally in an education or not-for-profit environment. You are:
- A strategic thinker and relationship builder, passionate about education and community.
- Skilled in leading multi-disciplinary teams and delivering measurable results.
- Experienced in fundraising, donor stewardship and alumni engagement.
- Proficient in marketing, communications, and brand management.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and influencing diverse stakeholders.
- A highly organised, influential and relational leader who is considered when making decisions.
To be successful in this role, it is essential that you are highly organised, have an acute ability to problem solve and enjoy the complexity and pace of working on a multi-faceted School environment. Of critical importance is your ability to influence and inspire others and positively impact the strategy of the School.
