About this Position
Join Beyond Blue as an SEO/SEM Digital Performance Analyst, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and optimising search marketing strategies. Your expertise in paid search (SEM) and organic search (SEO) will drive measurable outcomes—enhancing visibility, boosting engagement, and supporting mental health initiatives.
As a search marketing subject matter expert, you'll provide strategic guidance and technical insights to elevate performance across digital channels. Collaborating with cross-functional teams—Data & Insights, Brand & Marketing, and Technology Enterprise Solutions—you'll craft impactful, data-driven campaigns that align with Beyond Blue's mission.

The role
The key duties of the role include:
SEM Strategy, SEO Integration & Optimisation
- Develop and execute SEM strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Manage and optimise paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
- Monitor key performance metrics and apply data-driven optimisations.
- Enhance website visibility, traffic, and engagement through organic search strategies.
- Conduct keyword research, on-page optimisation, and competitive analysis.
- Work with content creators and web developers to implement SEO best practices.
- Utilise tools like Google Search Console and SEMrush for performance tracking.
Data-Driven Campaign Management
- Track performance using analytics platforms and refine strategies with insights.
- Optimise ad performance and conversions through A/B testing and user analysis.
- Develop dashboards and reports to communicate results to stakeholders.
- Partner with Data & Insights Team to improve targeting and refine SEM strategies.
- Deliver regular performance reports with actionable recommendations.
Risk & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and accessibility standards.
- Maintain ethical search marketing practices and address risks proactively.
About you
To be successful you will hold:
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing or other relevant discipline.
- Proven experience in marketing or digital performance analysis.
- Strong analytical skills to assess data and optimize decision-making.
- Advanced analytical and conceptual thinking to identify emerging trends.
- Expertise in behaviour change marketing and social marketing methodologies.
- Skilled in audience-focused marketing to drive engagement and action.
- Strong knowledge of brand strategy and management principles.
- Proactive collaborator with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Capable of managing multiple complex projects efficiently.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on community-centered innovation.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Miro, Jira, and Confluence
