We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate carer to join our team, providing support for a man with cerebral palsy who uses a wheelchair and requires 24-hour care.

This role involves a variety of responsibilities, including personal care (such as showering and toileting), meal preparation, manual handling, and general domestic assistance.

Shifts available:

  • A mix of short and long shifts
  • Weekdays, evenings, weekends, and overnight hours
  • Additional hours may be offered once you are confident and familiar with routines and procedures
  • This position is well-suited to nursing students and international students.

What we're looking for:

  • Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, and overnight shifts
  • Experience in care is an advantage, but not essential (training provided)
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Adaptability to changes in routine or procedures
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current Police Check
  • Driver's licence and access to a car (preferred but not essential)
  • Reliable, punctual, and strong communication skills
  • Willingness to take on some short shifts
  • Ideally located in or near Winston Hills or surrounding suburbs
