Our Coolum Beach-based financial planning firm was built from the ground up 11 years ago and has grown into a thriving, client-focused practice. We currently have one adviser and a dedicated support team of five, all committed to delivering exceptional service and advice. Our business is experiencing strong growth, and we're ready to welcome a motivated professional who's eager to help take our success to the next level.

About the Role

  • Work from our Coolum Beach office, supporting a diverse and growing client base.

  • Initially, you'll shadow the principal adviser and take on a mix of administrative and client service tasks as you integrate into the business.

  • As you prove yourself, you'll transition to managing a book of 30–50 clients and handle new client enquiries.

  • Half yearly bonus potential based on how the business is travelling and performance.

What We're Looking For

  • Ideally, less than 5 years' experience as a financial planner, with relevant qualifications and certifications.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness to take on administrative responsibilities as you build up to full advisory capacity.

  • Adaptable and eager to learn our approach to advice.

  • Motivated, driven, and focused on both personal and business growth.

  • Experience managing client portfolios and providing tailored advice - mainly pre retirees and retirees.

  • Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.

  • Proficiency with financial planning software.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
