As Southeast Queensland's only co-educational primary Grammar school, Ipswich Junior Grammar provides a high quality, non-denominational education for boys and girls from Kindergarten to Year 6. It shares a campus with Ipswich Girls' Grammar School, which caters for girls only from Years 7 to 12, with boarding available from Year 5.

Thanks to continued growth, we're excited to welcome two passionate and experienced educators to our Junior School team in 2026. These are 12-month, fixed-term roles, perfect for teachers who thrive in a collaborative, dynamic environment.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

To be successful in this role, you will have a willingness to support the values and aims of the School, and possess

• teaching qualifications or eligibility for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers, with a demonstrated capacity, skills and/or experience teaching within a junior school environment.
• the ability to prepare and deliver dynamic teaching and learning programs to our young learners.
• experience monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on student progress across the curriculum, using data analysis to inform classroom teaching and learning programs and strategies to support student learning.
• develop each child's confidence and self-esteem whilst acting as a role model in presentation, action, and communication.
• ability to always provide a safe and supportive learning environment.
• strong interpersonal skills, with highly developed organisational, communication and administrative skills.
• ability to participate in grounds' supervision on a regular rostered basis.
