The School is seeking a Primary Teacher interested in or holds existing experience in the Explicit Teaching approach. Full training in adopting the Explicit Teaching approach will be provided to the successful applicant, in addition to ongoing support. The School is seeking a candidate with experience or interest in teaching Year 3 to 6.

This role is on a 6 month contract with the possibility of an extension, commencing in Term 3.

The Teacher will be expected to:

  • Be innovative, highly motivated and organised in the planning and delivery of a primary education curriculum.

  • Support the strategic educational development of the School.

  • Represent the School in a professional and considered manner.

  • Develop and utilise data to inform good practice and appropriate change.

  • Demonstrate support for the school by regular attendance at school functions and out of school activities, including extra-curricular.

  • Have a special interest, passion and expertise in the education of boys.

Graduate and early careers teachers are encouraged to apply. Only applicants with current Queensland Teachers College Registration will be considered for this position. Permission to Teach considered should a suitable applicant not be found.
