About Us

Inner City Attics is a busy and reputable building company specialising in attic conversions and second-storey extensions across the inner city suburbs of Sydney. With a steady pipeline of exciting residential projects, we are seeking a motivated and skilled licensed carpenter or builder to join our professional and close-knit team.

The Role

As an integral part of our site crew, you'll work on-site transforming homes and unlocking space potential for Sydney families. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Framing, roofing, cladding and finishing carpentry
  • Coordinating with sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Ensuring high-quality craftsmanship across all stages
  • Reading and interpreting plans and construction drawings
  • Working within a team on fast-paced projects in tight city environments
What We're Looking For
  • Current carpenter or builder's licence (NSW)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in residential construction (preferably with extensions, attic, or heritage homes)
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work both independently and within a small team
  • White Card (construction induction)
  • Own tools and reliable transport
  • Working rights in Australia
