The opportunity

Downer's Industrial & Energy business is seeking a dedicated Zero Harm Advisor to support the Chevron Contract on Barrow Island. Working a 14/14 FIFO roster from Perth, this role is critical in ensuring robust health, safety and environmental systems are implemented and maintained across the project. You'll be part of a high-performing team that champions Zero Harm culture and drives continuous improvement in safety outcomes.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum Certificate IV in WHS and a Construction Industry White Card.
  • Experience in injury management, incident investigation, and return to work programs.
  • Strong understanding of HSE legislation, standards, and management systems.
  • Proven ability to coach and influence across all levels of a project team.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to travel and spend extended periods on remote sites for shutdown work.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • ICAM Lead Investigator
  • Auditor Training
  • Drug & Alcohol Testing certification

You'll also need to be collaborative, client-oriented, and driven by excellence, with a strategic mindset and high attention to detail.
