
Mechanics - Masters Techs / Diagnostics Techs

We are looking for experienced and dealer-trained Automotive Technicians / Master Technicians, with diagnostics and complex mechanical experience working on brands such as Ford, VW and Mercedes. Multiple locations available.
In this role your requirements will be:
- Servicing and maintenance of vehicles (as per factory required standards)
- Diagnostic tracing of fault codes and repair of traced faults
- Repairing and replacing faulty wiring or electrical systems
- Servicing of electrical automotive parts
- Dismantling of engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components for rebuilding or repair
- Realigning and adjusting brakes, wheel laser alignment
- General vehicle maintenance as required by customers, including removal and replacement of worn components
- Testing of vehicles under driving conditions after repairs have been completed
Additional duties for Master Technicians:
- Leading advanced diagnostics and providing solutions for complex mechanical/electrical faults
- Supporting and mentoring junior technicians and apprentices
- Liaising with manufacturers' technical departments for escalated cases
- Overseeing quality control to ensure repairs meet OEM standards
- Providing technical guidance on workshop processes, tooling, and best practices
- Assisting with continuous improvement of workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction
The successful applicants must have:
- Hold a current Motor Mechanic/Auto Electrician Trade Certificate or equivalent
- At least 5 years full-time work experience
- Knowledge and experience in servicing and maintenance of Japanese/European-made vehicles as well as other vehicles (including 4WDs)
- Good diagnostic skills on specific brands
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Manufacturer training and experience is essential

Pay rate: $70,000–$85,000 depending on experience. Full-Time positions.
