Job description:

Clubfit Gym is currently seeking a driven individual to join our team, someone who values growth, professionalism, and contributing to a supportive community.

Clubfit Gym is a 24/7 community-based fitness centre offering a range of services including Group Fitness classes, Personal Training, a Ladies-Only Zone, Shake Bar, Supplement Store, and Kids' Crèche. We are committed to providing a first-class member experience and are looking for someone equally passionate to help us uphold this standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting members, handling inquiries, and processing new sign-ups
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the gym and bathrooms
  • Ensuring weights are neatly organized and the gym floor remains tidy
  • Consistently meeting or exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Opening and closing the facility as per shift requirements
  • Cash handling and end-of-shift reconciliation
  • Assisting with the shake bar and supplement store operations
  • Ensuring all members adhere to club policies and safety standards
  • General housekeeping and facility presentation
  • Creating a fun and welcoming environment through engaging member interactions
  • Delivering an exceptional overall member experience

What skills and attributes are we looking for?

  • Experience using Clubware and Debit Success systems
  • Previous experience in sales, marketing, and/or social media management
  • A vibrant, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
  • A genuine passion for health and fitness
  • Excellent customer service and time management abilities
  • The ability to multi-task and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
  • Initiative and the ability to work independently without constant direction
  • A valid First Aid Certificate (preferred but not essential)
  • Punctuality and professionalism – arriving 10 minutes before shift start time is expected

Shift Details:

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 4:00pm – 8:00pm, Saturday, 9am-2pm.
  • Casual position with an opportunity to increase hours over time
