The Opportunity
We are entering an exciting phase of growth with a project pipeline of contracted projects and project opportunities across Australia's large-scale renewable market. This is a rare opportunity to step into a role with immediate commercial traction—leveraging our proven technology, strong client relationships, and active multi-GW opportunities.
About the Role
As our Business Development Manager – Inverters, you will play a pivotal role in securing large-scale renewable projects across Australia. You'll work closely with leading developers, integrators and key industry stakeholders to provide the technical, commercial, and strategic solutions they need from an OEM supplier. Your understanding of project lifecycles—from early-stage feasibility through to delivery—will ensure our technology is positioned as the partner of choice.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth by capitalising on our extensive project pipeline and market-leading inverter solutions.
- Engage with developers to understand their commercial, technical, and operational requirements.
- Lead negotiations on high-value contracts and support bids for multi-megawatt and gigawatt-scale projects.
- Collaborate with internal engineering, project management, and operations teams to deliver tailored proposals.
- Maintain and expand strategic relationships with developers, EPCs, and industry partners.
- Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to identify emerging opportunities.
About You
- Proven track record in business development or sales related to large-scale renewable energy projects in Australia.
- Strong knowledge of the renewable project development process and what developers value from an OEM partner.
- Experience with utility-scale inverter technology or other major renewable generation equipment.
- Skilled in high-level contract negotiation and relationship management.
- Commercially astute with strong technical understanding.
- Willingness to travel nationally.
