Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head Chef located in Brighton. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and managing kitchen staff. The Head Chef will also be responsible for maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and ensuring the quality and presentation of all dishes. Collaboration with the management team to improve and innovate menu offerings is also expected.

Qualifications

  • Culinary skills including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Management skills, including overseeing kitchen staff
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Inventory management and ordering skills
  • Experience in creating innovative and diverse menu offerings
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
  • Formal culinary training and relevant certifications are a plus
