The Role:Our Project & Development Services (PDS) business line has a key role in managing the National Program Service (NPS) Package for the Defence Estate Works Program (EWP). The Program & Development Manager role will support the management of programs and projects within the EWP.Benefits:18 weeks paid parental leave for Primary Carer after 6 months of servicePrivate Health Insurance DiscountsGym & Wellbeing DiscountsEmployee assistance programHealth & Beauty DiscountsNovated Lease for EV CarsDuties:Assist in managing multiple projects within the EWPSupport the development and maintenance of program schedules and budgetsAssist in preparing program and project reportsSupport stakeholder engagement and communication activitiesAssist in identifying and mitigating program and project risksSupport the assessment of PDS ProposalsAssist in monitoring program and project performanceSupport the coordination of prioritisation activities for Potential ProjectsAssist in the preparation of Request For Proposal documentationSupport efficient access to Defence Sites and facilitiesAssist in accurate reporting on aspects of the EWPWhat you will bring:Baseline Clearance (or the ability to obtain this ie: Australian Citizenship) is mandatory for this positionA degree in a relevant Project or Construction Management related discipline or a related fieldA minimum of five (5) years of experience in the field OR a combination of formal education and experience totalling more than seven (7) yearsOf those years, at least three (3) must be in roles related to Design, Construction, or Project ManagementExperience in managing multiple high complexity projectsFamiliarity with advanced program control techniques and integration methodologiesDemonstrated success in aligning program objectives with organisational strategic goalsExperience in the development and implementation of program-level budgetsUnderstanding of the legal environment for each project in respect of planning, commercial aspects and delivery constraintsProficiency in software applications commonly used in project and program managementStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience in coordinating program activities and working effectively with stakeholdersWhat to expect from us:As an organisation, we don't just accept that we are a place of many different people, but we embrace it, we celebrate it, and we proactively support the needs that difference brings.
