Head of Finance – Maternity Leave Contract

About the role

As Head of Finance, you'll lead a cross-functional team to deliver excellence across financial management, HR, IT systems, and office administration. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, supporting executive decision-making, and driving continuous improvement across systems and processes. At Brimble, you'll be part of a values-driven organisation with a national footprint. This is a 12-month contract. There is a possibility of extension, however no guarantees are provided.

Key Accountabilities

· Lead and support Finance team

· Oversee financial operations, compliance, reporting, and forecasting

· Deliver accurate consolidated financial reporting

· Oversee HR admin and coordinate with external support

· Coordinate with outsourced IT supplier

· Drive process improvements and efficiencies across all functions

About You

· Proven accounting/finance background

· Strong management skills with cross-functional team leadership experience

· Proficiency in Xero, Microsoft Office Suite, and consolidation tools

· Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

· A strategic mindset with strong attention to detail

· Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or Business
