Alstonville Family Dental has been proudly serving the Alstonville community since 2012. Located in the Alstonville Shopping Plaza with ample parking and wheelchair access, our practice combines a welcoming, friendly environment with a long-standing, highly experienced team of clinicians and support staff.
We care for a loyal and diverse patient base, including families, retirees, and generally affluent clients. Our patients return regularly, with excellent recall rates, and over half have private health cover. Demand is high – our current Hygienist and OHT maintain waitlists of 3–6 weeks, reflecting the strength of our practice.

Job Description
We’re seeking a passionate, patient-focused Hygienist for a part‑time role working across both Alstonville Family Dental and Maven Dental Lismore, with two set days per week at Alstonville Family Dental. If you take pride in delivering exceptional dental care and value building long‑term patient relationships, you’ll thrive here.
Qualifications
- Qualified Dental Hygienist, registered to practice in Australia
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Experience in using modern dental technology (intraoral cameras, digital radiography, and dental software) preferred
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and workplace safety
- Experience in educating patients on oral hygiene techniques, diet, and preventative care
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dental team
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for managing patient records and treatment plans
