POSITION: Counter hand - Hydraulic hose technician / Trainee.
  • More than just a job it's an opportunity to grow within this Industry.
  • Counter sales, Phone enquiries, allocation of Mobile work to service vans.
  • Sales, of Hydraulic & Industrial Hose assemblies, fittings & associated accessories.
  • Manufacture & Installation of hydraulic hose assemblies.
  • Stock management, allocation between workshop & van locations.
  • General cleaning, Sales area presentation & Workshop house-keeping.
  • Must be able to undertake manual handling duties, including safe physical lifting.

We Provide.

  • You will be provided the necessary training required to be competent in all aspects of this industry plus the opportunity to obtain accredited Tafe trained - Cert-III Fitter / Mechanical Trade, starting after a qualifying period.
  • You will be taught to identify product, Stock control, Manufacturer hydraulic hose assemblies, Remove & Refit these items to customers machinery along with other Workshop tasks.
  • Accredited training by vastly experienced trained staff to support you to achieve your future goals.

  • SERVICE CENTRE HOURS: Monday - Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm.
We are looking for someone with:
  • A fantastic attitude – with a strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
  • Have a natural Mechanical ability with a strong interest in Vehicles, Transport or Construction Machinery.
  • Have the skills to be a team player, with a strong willingness and ability to learn.
  • Be a self motivated - take pride in your work achievements with the confidence and determination to achieve future goals.
  • Be committed to provide quality service, Customer focused with the willingness to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Ideally some previous experience or a qualification in an appropriate and relevant discipline such as automotive mechanics with a desire to learn about trouble shooting hydraulic and related mechanical engineering problems would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Must Reside within the Gold Coast region.
  • Current manual drivers licence and have reliable means of transport to and from work.
  • Good communication skills - Intermediate level fluency in English (read/write/speak)

Remuneration:

  • Competitive Base salary plus Super.
  • $ 53,665 - $ 80,000 Based on experience.
