We are HIRING in Parramatta.

Music Bubbles Piano and Arts Learning Centre is currently seeking a casual Piano to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing students of all ages and skill levels in piano playing, from young children aged 3 years old to adults.

The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication skills and a passion for both music and teaching. While having expertise in other instruments is not mandatory, it would be an advantage, as it may allow for additional classes to be offered.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach students using our interactive 'The ONE Smart Piano' program.
  • Can teach students AMEB content (Australian Music Examination Board)
  • Instruct students on music theory, technique, and performance skills.
  • Teach music reading and sight-reading skills.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide feedback and constructive criticism.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and lesson plans.
  • Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and lesson plans.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Music Certification (Grade 5 - Piano minimum)
  • Possess friendly manner, enjoy working with children and confidently liaising with parents
  • Classroom management skills. Can manage group lessons (up to 4)
  • Responsible, punctual and committed to assigned task
  • Willingness to work flexible hours (especially Fridays & Saturdays)
  • Working with Children Check
