Looking for your next career adventure?
Well, Paylos Adventures is hiring
At Paylos, adventure is just the surface. What we really do is empower people to grow. We're not here to be just another provider—our mission is to create safe, evidence-based, trauma-informed supports that actually engage the people who
don't usually want to engage
.
Because at Paylos, we know that:
- Holding reflective spaces might happen while driving in a 4x4
- Building rapport with a complex young person might look like a Nerf war
- Practising mindfulness might mean skimming rocks across a river
- Connection might be built while collecting firewood for a campfire
On the outside, it looks like adventure. But on the inside? It's capacity building, rapport building, and therapeutic support
—delivered differently.
The Paylos Difference
We're not throwing the baby out with the bathwater. We value the safeguards, theories, and evidence-based frameworks of traditional models. But we also see the power of authenticity, fun, and natural community relationships.
That's what makes Paylos special:
A hybrid of professional, trauma-informed practice + authentic, engaging experiences.
A team that looks like adventurers in shorts and singlets—but are in fact highly trained support workers delivering evidence-based outcomes.
A service where fun, connection, and achievement aren't just slogans, they're the method.
About the Role – Support Worker / Youth Mentor (Casual)
Based across Melbourne and surrounding regions, you'll:
- Engage participants through fun, meaningful activities (indoors or outdoors).
- Build safe, trusting relationships.
- Support participants to achieve growth and independence.
- Document progress and collaborate with the team.
What We're Looking For
- A person who "gets" that
fun → connection → achievement
is our method. - Experience supporting young people, NDIS participants, or those with complex needs.
- Strong communication, resilience, and authenticity.
- First Aid & WWCC required; youth work / social work qualifications preferred.
Why Join Paylos?
Because at Paylos, reaching your NDIS goals doesn't have to be boring.
Because your role will be part mentor, part adventurer, and all about empowerment.
Because you'll join a team that blends the best of traditional frameworks with the authenticity of real-world connection.
- Ready to make support work exciting, safe, and life-changing? Apply now.
