The Role:

Millennium is looking for a professional, reliable, and experienced Security Officer to join our team at a dynamic retail location in Reservoir. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic group of skilled and motivated professionals in a supportive environment.

We have Part time positions available.

Roster:

  • Wednesday to Saturday - 15:30 - 00:30, Total Hours: 45
  • Monday & Tuesday - 15:30 - 00:30, Saturday & Sunday - 06:30 - 15:30, Total Hours: 36
  • Tuesday & Wednesday - 08:30 - 15:30, Saturday & Sunday - 08:30 - 15:30, Total Hours: 28
  • Monday - 08:30 - 15:30, Thursday & Friday08:30 - 15:30, Saturday & Sunday 15:30 - 22:30, Total Hours: 35
  • Monday to Friday - 15:30 - 22:30, Total Hours: 35

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrolling designated areas to ensure the safety and security of people and property
  • Providing a professional and courteous customer service experience
  • Adhering to all relevant security protocols and procedures
  • Respond to emergencies, alarm events, calls for assistance and provide the necessary support.
  • Assess and respond to situations of risk.
  • Manual handling of bollards.
  • Setting up and removing mobile mall furniture

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Security Licence (Unarmed, Crowd Control and Monitoring preferred)
  • Basic First Aid and CPR certification
  • Previous experience in a retail environment (highly regarded)
  • CCTV Experience Preferred
  • Availability for day/night and weekday/weekend shifts
  • A good level of physical fitness (patrols are part of the role)
  • Reliable transportation (preferred).
  • The ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A proven track record of reliability and punctuality

You must have valid work rights in Australia.
