Downer are looking for an enthusiastic Safety Advisor to actively support, coach, mentor and provide technical advice to internal stakeholders across our Queensland Transport & Infrastructure operations. Based out of Brisbane Airport, this dynamic role offers a blend of site-based and office exposure, with a strong focus on fostering collaboration to achieve our Safety objectives, while also contributing to business innovation. WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Certificate 4 Work Health and Safety minimum.
  • Exposure to civil road maintenance or construction (desirable).
  • ICAM Lead Incident Investigation (desirable).
  • Experience conducting audits and preparation of corrective actions and reports.
  • Participated in high level incident investigations.
  • Flexible with working night shift when required.
  • Ability to positively influence change and communicate effectively with multiple types of stakeholders.
  • High level of problem solving with the ability to professionally navigate complex situations.
  • Strong computer and data analysis skills that extend to report collation and presentation.
