Your part in our UnitingCare team 

We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Counsellor to join our Parenting Orders Program team to support individuals and families experiencing separation, high conflict and emotional stress.

This position will be based in Caboolture on a maximum term basis. Some evening work will be required.

This role involves:

  • providing assessment, counselling, psychoeducation, referrals, case management to parents, as well as co facilitation of the Business of Parenting Groupwork.
  • providing support to children and families through referrals and case collaboration.

What makes a difference for us?

  • A minimum of Bachelor Level Degree in Psychology, Social Work or Behavioural Science from a recognised tertiary institution
  • Eligible for membership with APS; AASW or PACFA
  • Current Queensland Drivers Licence
  • Suitability Card for Child Related Employment (Blue Card)
  • Willingness to undergo a criminal history check
