Are you an experienced mining professional with a strong leadership background and a passion for safety, operational excellence, and commercial success? We are seeking a
Mine Manager
to lead open-pit mining operations for our long standing client in Saudi Arabia.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations while maintaining strong client relationships and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all mining operations, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards (ISO 45001, 14001, 9001).
  • Develop and execute mining plans, schedules, and budgets to meet operational targets.
  • Act as the
    Contractor's Representative
    , managing client relationships and ensuring contract compliance.
  • Drive safety culture through risk assessments, hazard recognition, and leadership in safety initiatives.
  • Monitor and optimise equipment utilisation, maintenance schedules, and operational costs.
  • Manage project reporting, cash flow, and commercial aspects to achieve financial objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a diverse workforce, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Ensure all statutory permits and approvals are maintained and compliant.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification
    in Mining Engineering.
  • 12+ years of open-pit mining experience
    , with at least 2 years in a management role.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience delivering operational and fiscal outcomes.
  • Proven leadership in a high-production, safety-focused mining environment.
  • Experience working with culturally diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in
    Minex
    and the
    Microsoft Office Suite
    .
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.

  • 8 Weeks on 3 Weeks off with 2 Travel Days
