Our client is a successful residential builder established for over 30 years with a reputation for building quality homes. Currently building around 200+ homes per year, they have plenty of work in the pipeline for years to come.

Currently seeking a dedicated Preconstruction Coordinator with a strong background in approvals to join this high-performing team. This is your chance to play a key role in delivering dream homes for clients, from plans on paper to construction-ready sites.

You'll oversee and manage all building and planning approvals, liaising with councils, certifiers, and internal stakeholders to keep projects moving forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, lodge, and track building permits, development applications, and related approvals
  • Liaise with local councils, private certifiers, and other authorities to meet compliance requirements
  • Coordinate supporting documentation from engineers, surveyors, and consultants
  • Work closely with customer service and drafting teams to resolve any approval issues quickly
  • Contracts administration support & assisting other internal teams when required.

About You:

  • Previous experience in a Permits, Approvals, or Preconstruction role within residential construction
  • Strong knowledge of council processes, building codes, and approval requirements
  • Contracts administration experience is desirable
  • Strong communication skills and confidence when liaising with external authorities
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving problems

  • Up to $90k + Super (experience dependent)
