STORE MANAGER - PADDINGTON BOUTIQUE

Hansen & Gretel is an Australian contemporary fashion label known for its effortless, feminine, and directional designs. With strong growth across retail, wholesale, and e-commerce channels, we are seeking a passionate and driven Store Manager to lead our flagship Paddington boutique. This role is integral to delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales performance, and leading a high-performing team that reflects the Hansen & Gretel brand values.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

SALES & CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

  • Drive sales performance to achieve and exceed store KPIs, revenue, and profitability targets
  • Deliver an exceptional and personalised customer experience that reflects the brand ethos
  • Build strong client relationships through styling, clienteling, and after-sales care
  • Proactively manage VIP customers and contribute to building a loyal customer base

TEAM LEADERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a passionate team of casual stylists
  • Lead by example in customer service, styling, and brand presentation
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and rostering
  • Foster a collaborative and positive culture aligned with Hansen & Gretel's values.

OPERATIONS & STORE MANAGER

  • Oversee daily operations including rostering, stock management, VM, and reporting
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards in line with brand guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, WHS, and retail operational procedures
  • Manage stock levels, coordinate deliveries, and monitor shrinkage
  • Provide weekly sales, customer, and feedback reports to head office

MARKETING AND BRAND REPRESENTATION

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to activate retail events and campaigns
  • Drive in-store activations, styling sessions, and VIP events to build community engagement
  • Represent Hansen & Gretel in a professional, brand-aligned manner at all times

KEY SKILLS

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in store management within premium or contemporary fashion retail
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving commercial outcomes
  • Strong people management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on clienteling and styling
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving
  • Passion for fashion, styling, and delivering elevated customer experiences
  • Proficiency in retail systems (POS, rostering software).

Working days Tuesday - Saturday
