We are seeking a Full-Time Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team, working within a surgical practice. This role would be suited to someone seeking professional progress to further grow and develop within the dental/medical industry. Working within a specialist Oral and Maxillofacial practice this position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is motivated, has a good work ethic and enjoys a fast-paced work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Taking of incoming phone calls and assisting with patient enquiries via email
- Providing patients with surgical estimates, booking procedures and coordinating post-op appointments
- Liaising with Medicare, private health funds, hospitals and referrers
- Billing / receipting of patient accounts
- Supporting other staff with day-to-day administration of the practice
Skills and Experience:
- Have previous experience in Medical Reception/Administration, however training will be provided
- Self-motivated, great work ethic and a team player
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask, troubleshoot and problem solve
- Willingness to learn and contribute
- Friendly and positive attitude
- Confidence and ability to navigate practice management software, Cloud software experience desirable but not essential

About the Role:
- Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
