Tell me about this role:

We are currently looking for an NV1 security cleared IRAP/ Cross Domain Solution Specialist to join our team on a permanent basis. You will provide a range of advisory services covering security strategy, GRC and architecture. The successful candidate will possess a technical background to lead technical security assessment and review tasks.

What will I be doing day to day?

  • Lead and support client cyber security practices, providing cyber security risk assessments, advisory services to pragmatically address project risks
  • Conduct comprehensive security assessments of Defence ICT systems to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with IRAP standards
  • Develop and document assessment plans, methodologies, and detailed reports tailored to Defence requirements
  • Provide expert advice on security controls and risk mitigation strategies specific to Defence environments
  • Develop and maintain cyber security standards, specifications, policy & governance requirements for our clients such as (Essential 8, ISO 27001, NIST etc.)

What sort of skills do I need?

  • Experience within Defence environment
  • Knowledge of Defence-specific risk management frameworks and methodologies
  • Familiarity with various security tools and technologies used in Defence projects
  • Strong communication skills
  • Process orientated with good attention to detail
  • Candidate Must have IRAP Certification
