Goldy's Tavern is a big-hearted, award-winning pub in Collingwood. We've made a name for ourselves as both a beloved local and a destination venue, inspired by the feel of a warm country pub – brought to life in the middle of Melbourne's inner North.

With a loyal following, a busy kitchen, a passionate crew, and an excellent reputation we're looking for a results driven, creative and CDP to grow the existing team

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensure high quality and consistency of all dishes
• Maintain up to date knowledge of all products
• Ensure all standards are maintained, in particular delivering exceptional levels of service and affecting a smooth handover of shifts
• Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and food standards

Requirements:

• Formal qualifications including commercial cookery certificate
• A solid understanding and alignment with our company vision, mission and values
• Awareness of the need to manage all relevant costs, including labour, food and operations expenses
• Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimised kitchen processes
• Proven skills and ability to contribute to most facets of food production
• Strong organisational planning and time management
• Outstanding communication
