Sales Representative

Foreman-Sheean Electrical & Communications, located in Mildura, North West Victoria, has been delivering quality electrical and energy projects in the district for over 35 years. We are now supported by a larger group, Genuix Cleantech, and our business is expanding to assist our customers in the energy transition, helping them adopt energy solutions while getting the best value from their systems.
We're looking for a sales-focused Solar, Battery and Energy management Salesperson to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in sales who is driven to generate leads, build strong customer relationships, and close deals, while ensuring customers receive solutions that deliver the best value and exceed their expectations. You will be supported by a team of dedicated, already trained staff and an engineering team.
ResponsibilitiesYou'll be part of a supportive team responsible for:
- Generating new sales opportunities and converting leads into customers.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through ongoing communication and support.
- Presenting solutions to customers and helping them make informed decisions.
- Closing deals successfully.
- Coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal staff to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Providing detailed handovers of your customers' systems to the delivery team to ensure seamless execution.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience in proactive lead generation, general sales and understands the sales process.
- Is client-focused with the mindset to understand customer needs and objectives, help them get the best value, and exceed their expectations.
- Is motivated to generate leads, foster relationships, and close deals.
- Is fluent and confident using technology.
- Has good attention to detail and enjoys working collaboratively.
- Has a positive attitude and a genuine interest in energy solutions.
- Previous genuine sales experience and understanding the importance of taking the customer through a journey is an advantage.
No experience in solar and energy systems required, industry specific training will be provided.
