As the Marketing Assistant, you will be exposed to working on projects across our Sydney, Newcastle, Port Stephens, and Upper Hunter offices, supporting a wide range of marketing activities that drive brand awareness and business growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Be available as a resource for senior marketing professionals who need assistance with completing large projects.

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.

  • Assist with event planning and coordination, including logistics and promotional materials.

  • Drafting and executing targeted content for social, EDM, website, and blogs.

  • Prepare reports on campaign performance and provide insights for improvement.

  • Data entry and analysis.

  • Responding to marketing queries from social media by liaising with the marketing team.

  • Keeping abreast of industry trends and compelling marketing campaigns.

  • Liaising and strengthening relationships with employees, referrers, and clients alike.

  • Additional adhoc tasks as required relating to marketing and communications.

What you need to apply

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Previous experience and understanding of Microsoft office.
  • Previous experience working in marketing or communications.
  • Experience with HubSpot is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience with Asana is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Capacity to work independently.
  • Ability to constantly improve and optimise.
  • Ability to take a task, give it a go, and then ask for feedback.
