Who are we looking for?We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplinedAircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical and Avionics) to join our team in Brisbane, QLD. If you're a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you're the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.

Your roleIn this role, your key responsibilities will include:

• Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems;
• Conducting routine pre–flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment;
• Airbus A330 & Boeing 737 maintenance checks;
• Maintaining thorough records of actions taken;
• Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment, and;
• Testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment.

The essential requirements

• 2+ years experience on Airbus A330 & Boeing 737 aircrafts;
• Experience working in Base Maintenance
• Trade Certificate IV (Aeroskills) Mechanical and Avionics;
• Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components.
• Strong team player;
• Ability to follow supervisory direction;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Consistent positive and proactive attitude;
• Passion for safe work practices;
• Valid work visa, i.e. full working rights in Australia;
• Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); and,
• Current Australian Driver's licence.

Additional qualifications

We are specifically looking for candidates capable of committing to flexible working arrangements; further, please ensure that you are available to work in Brisbane before applying.
