ROLE/DESCRIPTION

As Service Technician, you'll be responsible for a range of duties across both technical servicing, and warehouse operations when required:

TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Service and maintain equipment to AS/NZS 3551 and 3760 standards
• Complete demonstration builds according to reports and KPIs
• Ensure all equipment on shelves is complete and ready for re-issue
• Set up mobility equipment as per clinician requirements
• Maintain complete service history records
• Ensure accurate billing for all service jobs and serviced items
• Provide in-field adjustments, advice, and technical support to internal teams and customers
• Perform in-field installations and servicing of equipment as required
• Participate in technical education initiatives and programs

STORE-PERSON RESPONSIBILITIES

(when required to support):

• Receive incoming goods and check for damage or discrepancies
• Load and unload trucks and containers
• Label goods and operate lifting machinery
• Pick and pack customer orders using picking lists
• Clean and manage stock control of demonstration equipment
• Prepare equipment and products (unpacking and basic assembly)
• Participate in cycle counting and stocktake procedures
• Package and dispatch outgoing goods
• Perform data entry related to stock movements and receipting
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment

REQUIREMENTS

• Electrical license is preferred i.e EAS or EST certification, Test and Tag Licence
• Hoist license is preferred
• Forklift licence and full Australian driver's licence are essential
• Proven technical ability and attention to detail
• Experience in a similar technical or warehouse role
• Experience can also be from mechanical or automotive
• Strong communication skills and adaptable mindset
• Familiarity with AS/NZS 3551 and 3760 standards (preferred)
• Flexible, positive, and proactive attitude
• Ability to multitask and show initiative
• Experience in the medical industry will be prioritised
