**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
Are you passionate about workplace health and safety and ready to make a real impact? We’re looking for a dedicated WHS Advisor to join our dynamic team in Sydney, providing WHS support across the business where required. As a WHS Advisor, you’ll be at the forefront of driving safety initiatives, ensuring compliance, and fostering a strong safety culture within our organisation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Stay informed of current WHS regulations and industry standards to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Contribute to the creation, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of safety management systems and plans.
- Perform routine site inspections and conduct risk assessments to identify and address potential hazards.
- Offer expert guidance, training, and mentorship to project teams, promoting a culture of safety.
- Take part in investigating incidents and near-misses, ensuring timely reporting and implementation of corrective actions.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date documentation of safety performance and related activities.
- Plan and deliver Prestart meetings, Toolbox Talks, and other relevant health and safety training sessions.
- Provide support for injury rehabilitation and manage return-to-work processes for project-related incidents.
- Facilitate induction programs and oversee the maintenance of worker competency records.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Diploma or Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (WHS) is essential.
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment desirable.
- Minimum of 2-3 years in a WHS role, ideally within a similar industry.
- Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence positive safety outcomes.
