We are currently seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Health, Safety, Environment, Quality (HSEQ) Advisor. Job Summary: This is a full-time roll.

As the HSEQ Advisor you will play a pivotal role in promoting and maintaining a culture of safety, health, and well-being among our employees. As well as managing and developing our Quality system. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HSEQ programs and policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives. There will be a requirement for occasional, as required site-based travel within WA.

The role will require someone with experience working in a medium business (circa 120 employees) and whilst integral to the whole business the successful candidate will need to be relatively autonomous, be comfortable working with all levels of employees and management and interested in growing and developing with the team and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSEQ):

  • Develop and implement HSEQ policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and deliver HSE training and awareness programs.
  • Investigate incidents using formal investigation methods, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Manage environmental sustainability initiatives.
  • Manage ISO Audits and Recertification process.
  • Confident in report writing and have good presentation skills.
  • Assist Leadership Team in maintaining and improving the company's HSEQ Management System in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO45001;

Qualifications:

  • Formal qualifications in HSEQ
  • Proven experience in HSEQ management
  • Knowledge of relevant HSEQ regulations and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
