About the Team

The Ministerial and Executive Services team contributes to a range of, planning, reporting and stakeholder engagement activities/ tasks to achieve Aboriginal Affairs NSW's (AANSW) strategic and business objectives.

About the role

As the Manager, Ministerial Executive Services, you'll navigate complex challenges, manage ministerial priorities, and play a key role in delivering impactful outcomes for Aboriginal communities across NSW. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of government, supporting leadership and driving positive change.

You will bring to the role:

  • Leadership & Strategic Vision:
    You'll inspire and guide a high-performing team responsible for delivering Ministerial, Executive, and Cabinet services. Your strategic mindset will drive corporate planning, prioritisation, and performance monitoring that aligns with AANSW's long-term goals.
  • Policy Expertise & Governance Acumen:
    You'll bring deep experience in shaping strategic policy under the OCHRE framework, translating evaluation insights into action, and embedding strong governance through planning, reporting, and the development of KPIs and oversight mechanisms.
  • Engagement & Collaboration Expertise
    : You'll champion meaningful two-way engagement with Aboriginal communities and key stakeholders. Your ability to build trust and collaborative networks across agencies will support whole-of-government initiatives and amplify community voices.
  • Executive-Level Support & Communication:
    You'll deliver high-impact strategic advice and secretariat support to the executive, backed by your ability to produce complex, high-quality
