We have a role available for a Range Booking Coordinator to support us in this contract. This is a permanent full-time position based at Robertson, Northern Territory.

About the role

You will be responsible for managing the scheduling and coordination of range facilities to support training activities, operational requirements, and stakeholder needs.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating and managing booking requests for range facilities, ensuring timely and accurate scheduling.

• Maintaining and updating range calendars, booking systems, and usage records to reflect current availability and allocations.

• Liaising with internal departments, external clients, and operational teams to confirm booking details and resolve scheduling conflicts.

• Ensuring all bookings comply with relevant safety, environmental, and operational protocols.

• Providing administrative support including documentation, reporting, and communication related to range usage.

• Assisting in preparing range sites for scheduled activities, including signage, access coordination, and resource allocation.

• Monitoring range usage and report any issues, breaches, or incidents to appropriate personnel.

• Supporting continuous improvement of booking processes and systems to enhance efficiency and user experience.

About you

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in scheduling, booking coordination, or administrative support within a similar environment, including experience with booking or facility management software

• Demonstrated ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders, including internal teams, external clients, and operational personnel.

• Exposure to compliance-driven environments, such as defence, emergency services, or regulated training facilities.

• Experience in managing competing priorities and responding to urgent or last-minute changes in a fast-paced setting.

• Understanding of safety protocols and operational procedures related to site access, equipment usage, or training activities.

• Tertiary qualification in Business Administration or a related field would be advantageous.

• Range Officer Accreditation or relevant safety training (desirable).

You must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
