Hobart, Tasmania, Australia Courier Direct Full time $45,000 - $60,000 per year

Due to increased growth in the business, we are currently looking for a casual Courier Delivery Driver to be based out of Hobart. Initially will be a set 2 mornings per week with potential to increase in the future and provide cover for other employees.

We operate a statewide freight delivery and pickup service and deliver a wide and varied amount of stock on a daily basis. Specialise in urgent and express delivery service.

Job Description

· Multi delivery and pickup locations

· Delivery locations are around greater Hobart area including regional towns

· Hand load van from pallets at a central warehouse

· Heavy lifting can be involved

· Predominantly use an electronic proof of delivery system operated via a smart phone

· A business provided van/vehicle will be included as part of this role

Job Profile

To succeed in this role, you will need to have/provide the following:

·  Candidates must hold a current C Class (standard) car licence with no restrictions

·  Australian work rights are required for this position

·  Minimum 1+ years of courier or delivery driving experience is required

· Ability to be reliable and flexible and on call

· Ability to maintain confidentiality

· Be physically fit at a level appropriate for courier delivery work

· Good driving history record and satisfactory police check

· Communication skills at a level sufficient to provide quality customer service

· Be extremely well organized and able to manage competing priorities

· Be able to use all functionality of a smart phone
