Logistics Courier

Logistics Courier position with a Federal Government Department.

**Your new company**
A Federal Government organisation is seeking a Logistics Courier to join their team in Warehouse Operations.

**Your new role**
Reporting to the Warehouse supervisor you will be responsible for delivering and receiving various types of cargo from various locations across Hobart.

You will also:

- Provide logistics support within the warehouse
- Prepare and pack as well as document containerised cargo for road air or sea transport
- Receipt and process of inward cargo for freight deliveries
- Work safely and effectively within a team environment to meet deadlines

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role you will have proven experience with delivering goods as well as knowledge of warehouse operations with logistics and cargo.

You will also have:

- High risk work Licence for Forklift Truck operation (desirable)
- Drivers Licence
- High level of organisation and time management skills.
- High attention to detail regarding documents.
- Initiative and can-do mindset.
- Strong customer service skills

To be considered for this position you must be an Australian Citizen.

**What you'll get in return**
You will receive an attractive hourly rate, Monday to Friday work, 8 hours a day. This position is initially for a 2 month period but has the opportunity for further extension.
