The Opportunity

As the Marketing Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the voice and identity of MG Motor Australia. Reporting to the CEO, you will lead a talented marketing team, overseeing brand, digital, retail, sponsorship, and customer engagement activities. This is a senior leadership role where strategic thinking meets hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies to strengthen MG's brand positioning and market share in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Lead brand campaigns, digital initiatives, PR, sponsorships, events, and dealer marketing programs.
  • Drive customer insights and data-led decision-making to enhance engagement and loyalty.
  • Partner with regional teams to localise campaigns that resonate with local markets.
  • Manage and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering creativity and collaboration.
  • Oversee marketing budgets, ensuring efficiency, ROI, and maximum impact.
  • Act as a key spokesperson and brand ambassador in industry and media settings.

About You

  • Senior marketing leader with extensive experience in brand, digital, and integrated marketing (automotive or consumer-focused industries preferred).
  • Proven success in driving brand growth and market share through strategic and innovative campaigns.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive levels.
  • Commercially minded with a strong understanding of customer insights and data analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for building brands that connect with people.
