As the P&C Administrator you will assist the People & Culture team with all administrative tasks related to managing the employment life cycle of our staff. Importantly you will also join a supportive environment in a growing not-for-profit organisation.

About the role

Reporting to the Executive Manager - People and Culture, you will be responsible for providing high level administrative support to the P&C Business Partners and the team overall. Working within our UKG Ready HR system you will:

  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance and a positive employee experience.
  • Maintain accurate employee documents, qualifications and credentials.
  • Process and update modern award progressions, collaborating with P&C Business Partners for any associated remuneration changes.
  • Post job advertisements and assist with short listing and phone screening candidates.
  • Schedule interviews and liaise with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Support pre-employment checks and reference verification.
  • Monitor and maintain up-to-date records for VIT registration, Working with Children Checks (WWCC), and Police Checks.
  • Ensure timely renewals and follow-ups to meet legal and organisational compliance standards.
  • Contribute to the improvement of P&C processes in support of the efficiency and effectiveness of HR services.

This is a varied and busy role, based at our Lilydale head office, requiring a high level of organisation to manage the fast pace of our department, and growth of our organisation.

About you

As an experienced P&C Administrator, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience working with a Human Resource Information System (preferably UKG Ready).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with internal stakeholders and external candidates.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to exercise confidentiality, maintain privacy and act with sensitivity and discretion in relation to employee and P&C information at all times.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High levels of motivation, with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort working with digital systems and workflows.
