About the Role
As a Care Manager you'll lead the operations of the IRT Crown Gardens Aged Care Centre, based in Batemans Bay. If you have experience as a clinical leader, and you're passionate about Aged Care, then this position is for you.
IRT Crown Gardens is a boutique, 40-bed care centre, offering modern surroundings in a leafy, rural setting. This is a full-time position.
Your work will include:
• Full accountability for the day to day operations of IRT Crown Gardens including the management and delivery of resident relations, satisfactory to IRT policies and procedures
• Delivering exceptional operational performance in line with the Aged Care Standards and IRT annual objectives
• Ensuring all administrative requirements including care plans and other programs are documented in a complete and timely manner
• Identify workforce requirements including recruiting, monitoring and developing through performance reviews
• Empowering, supporting and mentoring a team of employees and volunteers to continue to deliver and improve upon a high quality of care
To Be Successful You Will Have
- Demonstrated experience in a similar leadership role with a passion for Aged Care
- Current Australian Nursing Registration (AHPRA)
- Commercial acumen including working with operational budgets and financial management
- Sound knowledge of AN-ACC Aged Care Legislation and Accreditation
- The ability to role model continuous improvement and facilitate change through others
- Sound technology skills including clinical management systems and Human Resource Information System
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate empathetically to people from diverse backgrounds, values and cultures
- A current Australian Drivers Licence
- Post graduate qualifications would be highly regarded.
